Keeping it to yourself
There is nothing illegal about my business, and everything I do is totally straight and above board. However, I am a fairly private person and in many ways I like to keep my identity secret, and that includes the identity that I use for my business dealings, most of which are of an international nature. The way that I can protect my identity is by using offshore incorporation, in a jurisdiction where there are laws to protect the identity of individuals who own offshore companies. It may sound as if you are dealing with a legal gray area, but I tell you there is nothing underhand about an offshore company in the slightest.
